Fancy Dress Competition

India is a land of diversity but also an embodiment of unity in the most inclusive of ways. Each state has its own separate identity. To acquaint our students about diverse culture/costume/ habits of different states of India and to mark the 73rd year of Republic India, to show the spirit of patriotism by remembering the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the great Indian leaders those who have contributed towards our nation, LIS Sarigam conducted ‘Fancy Dress Competition’ based on the theme- "Culture of different states" and "Be a Leader".

The little angels of the Nursery and Junior KG spread their magic by enwrapping themselves in costumes associated to different states. The enthusiastic performances depicted the language spoken, general information and other peculiarities of these states. The platform of presentation proved to be a great learning experience surely worth applauding.

The students of Senior KG came dressed as Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Khudiram, Bose, Bhagat Singh, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Mahatma Gandhi, Rani Laxmi Bai, Mr Narendra Modi, Mrs Indira Gandhi and proud Indian and spoke few lines on them. The students were excited and displayed their best to make this celebration relevant one.

Judges were invited from two Pre primary schools of Gajera Trust. All the judges got extremely impressed by the performances of all junior leaders and state representatives. The judges motivated all the children to identify their talents and participate in such competitions.
