Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration

"Let’s Go Green And Celebrate The Eco-Friendly Way"

Ganesha Chaturthi is one of the most celebrated festivals across India, where we celebrate the birth of Lord Ganesha — the epitome of wisdom, good luck and fortune. This 10-day festival is celebrated with huge pomp and show, from evening aarti, elaborate feasts, modak and a grand Ganpati visarjan. But we cannot deny the impact these elaborate festivities have had on the environment over the years. So, it is high time to step up our festive game and get more responsible for how we celebrate.

To enhance the creativity of our students, to inculcate traditional values in them and to senstize them towards the environment LIS had organised Ganesh chaturthi celebration in eco friendly way on 3 September 2022 as part of CCA activity

for grade 1 to 12.

Grade 1 to 8 students made eco friendly ganesha with clay, dough and mud.

Grade 9 to 12 students were excited to keep their handmade idols for Puja as well as decorated their class on the auspicious day.

Ganesh idol was made very creatively, innovatively and passionately by our students.

Truly a day to remember with such a joyful and blissful celebration.

Ganpati Bappa Morya!
