Gladiatorial Combat of the Young Intellect Debate of Inter Gajera

Laxmi International School successfully organised and hosted an Inter-school Digital Debate on June 25-26, 2021. The debate was categorised in two groups with two different subjects, Group 1 (6-8 grade) “Can Technology help us save the Planet?”, Group 2 (9-12 grade) “Would the world be a better place without Humans?”.

There were more than 50 young students participated from 5 different Gajera Trust Schools. It was nothing but a show of intellectual minds and revelation of knowledge on two different subjects. The content presented by the participants highlighted the negative and positive aspects of the two different subjects especially “Would the world be a better place without Humans?”. Debate was held to explore young minds about their knowledge on Mother Earth and its relevance to maintain eco-friendly surroundings. Point of take away for all was “Technology should be a helping hand to mankind and not destructive one.”

The Jury of the event was a team of experts in the field of education, Mr. Nandkishor Bodke, Mr. Bhagirath Pande and Mrs. Manju Sharma. The Debate ended with an essence of intellectual awakening for all who attended the event.

The reaction we received for the identical changed into extraordinarily overwhelming and it turned into very difficult for the judges to select the winners.

But competition has no value without a winner, hence after lots of brainstorming, we have come up with 3 winners and 1 Best Orator
