Guardian Angel
Updated: Dec 19, 2020

Angels are the messengers of God who are exceptionally powerful, tolerant, helpful and indifferent towards any religion and caste. He sends them to us to guide and protect us. Therefore, we can say that they can understand us very well and we can only understand them when we reach their level. Why don’t we just thank those who work only for us and are always ready to help us to learn to live through the difficulties of life by giving an understanding of right and wrong and who in return expect nothing from us?
God cannot be everywhere so he left his angels to care for us. Yes! Those angels are none other than our Parents-the guardian angels. It is probably very difficult to understand them, and the kind of thinking with which they care and raise their children. A father is one who makes us smile after a rebuke and a mother is one who scolds us and cries herself with us. No matter what whenever they are with us, we have the strength to fearlessly stand amidst storms of our lives and their presence gives us the answer to all our unresolved problems.
The depth of the love of the parents for their children cannot be measured. It is like no other relationship. It exceeds concern for life itself. The love of a parent for a child is continuous and transcends heartbreaks and disappointments. They are the ultimate role models for their children. Every word, movement and action of a child can never be hidden from a parent. They are the inspiration to not to give up, however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at. They never let you lose hope and constantly remind you that you alone are the most beautiful heart in the whole world.
Real happiness is seeing a smile on parents faces and icing on the cake if that comes by their child’s efforts. Most of the time it is even questionable whether one can compare their happiness to the sacrifices they make for their children. Parenting itself is a huge sacrifice they make. It’s putting their life on hold to fulfil the promise of their children’s tomorrows. Their faith on us is a period ‘.’ to all the self-doubts and is a bundle of joy.
The greatest blessing after the bounties of the creator is the blessing of the parents. They do not help us only with their hands and body, their heart is as big as the universe. They have walked on this Earth longer than us and has lived longer than us and have thus gathered a lot of wisdom and experiences. Hence, seeking their blessing by touching their feet will surely add on favor and grace in all the future endeavors. Even though the parents may be illiterate, but the ability to teach the lessons of life they have no school has.
How do we express honor to our parents in daily life? By keeping the lines of communication open — visiting, telephoning and sending emails. Such communication conveys the message “I still love you and want you to be a part of my life.” Failure to communicate says in effect, “I no longer care.” Speaking of honoring and respecting parents, the second fundamental principle of marriage is that we are to honor our in laws parents. No matter how different we are from them, we can still communicate respect and learn to be as positive as possible. Getting in-laws parents are a kind of double bonus in one’s life with which one’s strength can be multiplied manifold.
It gives an immense joy to see parents every day even from far away, touching their feet and bowing down before them are moments filled with sheer delight. People can keep their parents happy only if they understand them and there is no greater success than this. When one gets all the success of the world, one should never let the one who has made one worthy of it be sad and help them always get the satisfaction of life. Only then he can win the world.
