Gurupurnima Celebration

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said- “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and critically. Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” Teacher imparts the education hence the role of the teacher is of paramount importance to present and future of a student.

On account of Gurupurnima Laxmi International School organized a felicitation ceremony to honour the teachers on 24th July 2021 with intense zeal and zest. The celebration had a graceful presence of honorable chief guest Mr. Keyur Naik who is the Director of Laxmi Institute of management.

The function began with warmly welcoming the dignitaries with choir singing the Guru Stuti, followed by a beautiful speech by Anju ma’am highlighting the importance of Guru Purnima. In the programme there were students who recited Sanskrit shloka and we were honored to have encouraging speech by the chief guest, praised our principal for his hard work and dedication towards the school and bringing the school to such a great height. Inspirational speech was also delivered by the Principal Sir to motivate the teachers and it also described the significance of guru and metamorphosis of the student teacher relationship over the years.

The function was concluded with gaiety all around and a good aura with happy faces all around.
