7th August is celebrated as National Handloom Day to commemorate the Swadesi Movement. LIS had organised an activity on 3rd August, 2022 for students of 6 to 8.

Grade 6 to 8 students actively participated in Block Printing on Fabric.They used block patterns made from vegetables, leaves and so on..

Students made beautiful pattern and design using their creativity.

The aim behind this activity was to promote, celebrate and appreciate the richness of Indian Handlooms.
