Orientation Program on Maker's Day
The countdown begins………
12th October is an important date in Gajerians Calendar. The day is celebrated as Makers Day in all the schools under Gajera Trust. Actually it is the birth date of our beloved trustee Late Shrimati Sunita Chunibhai Gajera.
This year is no exception and we are getting ready to celebrate the special day. The theme of this year is ‘Mother Nature’. We have six competitions and two activities under this four categories like- innovation, creativity, social, and synergy. Learners will use nature as inspiration to recite poems or sing songs, make sculptures using natural clay or to reveal their creativity by making trash to treasure and many more. Learners from 3 to 6 years are eligible to take part in the competitions. Like previous years, this year too each learner is restricted to participate in two events only.
After crossing different steps starting from meeting, planning, getting approval, teacher’s orientation, creating registration form and sharing with parents. Now we are almost ready to go. But to fulfill our expectations and purpose of having such theme need to explain to parents for better understanding. Keeping this in mind an Orientation program on Makers’ Day was arranged for the parents of preprimary kids on Monday 20th September 2021, on a virtual platform. The registration process, the details of competitions and activities, rules/ regulations, dos and don’ts, process of uploading videos explained to parents. Parents cleared their doubts through question answer round. The winners of the competitions will be felicitated on 12th October.
