Summer Fun

“Beat the HEAT with a nice COOL treat” Summer Week was celebrated for the pre primary kids of Laxmi International School Sarigam from 27th to 29th April 2022. All the kids actively took part in all the activities conducted in and out of the department. Day- 1- Pool Party- Nothing can be more fun on a hot summer day than hitting the pool and splashing around with friends. So an indoor pool party was organized for kids to become the coolest school around.

Day- 2- Show and Tell Activity was organized on 28th April to strengthen the verbal skills and to foster public speaking competency of the young minds. Kids talked about things used in Summer. Summer fruits, veggies were displayed. They picked the item as per their choice and talked about it. It was an interesting and a thrilling experience for the kids sharing their feelings with peer which provided fun and comfortable learning arena for everyone involved.

Day- 3

During the summer season, many minerals are lost from the body as a result of excessive perspiration, leading to dehydration. In such times, it is critical that we keep consuming water and/ or healthy liquid drinks to keep ourselves hydrated. Pre primary kids with the help of their educators prepared different health drinks like- Lemonade, Water melon Mojito, Aam panna, Orange juice and many more.

As today is the last day before summer vacation so kids made summer craft as a take away. The purpose of conducting such activities is to engage kids in activities that they find both enjoyable and meaningful.
