LIS observed day 5 of Swacchta Drive as "Swacchta Rally Day" on October 16, 2021. An awareness rally on the theme Swachh bharat abhiyan was organised by LIS involving students of classes VI-XII.Students and staff members participated in the initiation to create awareness on cleanliness among other students and to inculcate the values of being responsible citizen. The mission statements of the rally were 'Clean schools, green surroundings' & Say 'No' to plastic bags'.During the rally, shout out of slogans by the students awakened the listeners.The rally started from the LIS main gate with a mob performance and street play along with banners and flash cards that added on the effectiveness of the display and presentation. Principals, Administrative heads, Vice Principals and the staff of the school and colleges participated in rally to take this mission of cleanliness to the community, thereby creating mass awareness.
