“A GREAT EDUCATION BEGINS WITH A GREAT KINDERGARTEN EXPERIENCE"

A Cheerful ‘Welcome” helps kindergarten children for a positive start to their school journey. To make this journey an exciting, successful and happy experience our KG educators organized “WELCOME WEEK” for our tiny tots who have entered to our school campus. We celebrate Welcome Week starting from 4th to 8th April 2022. KG department was decked up with colorful balloons, dupattas, cut-outs, wooden letters and numbers. The show was hosted by SR KG Children with great zeal and zest. SR KG children welcomed our little champs by applying tika, shaking hands and reciting welcome rhymes. Few were bit nervous as it was the first day they were away from their home and parents. But for majority the scenario was different. After two years of confinement they felt free and enjoyed the day to the fullest

Different activities were planned for this week. Starting with warm up followed by introduction was done through name game. Teachers talked about Classroom rules and non verbal communications signs. Kids sang welcome song, hand wash and at the end clean up song. Ball and balloon games were played. It was a fun filled week. At the end of the session, all the kids were presented hand band as a memory of 1st day in school. Parents clicked photos in front of 1st day selfie corner. “It was an amazing experience to see the lovely smiling faces. Welcome Week celebration has been a foundation for the positive relationship among children of different age groups.
