WORLD HEALTH DAY 2023 (Grade 1 to 5)

"He who has health has hope and he who has hope has everything."

Keeping this hope intact and inculcate the same in our young minds, LIS had organised a seminar on occasion of World Health Day.

World Health Day is celebrated on April 7 every year to raise awareness about global health issues and to promote healthy living. The day was first celebrated by the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1950, to mark the organization's founding, which took place on April 7, 1948.

Each year, the day focuses on a specific theme, highlighting different challenges and opportunities related to global health

 This year( 2023)the theme for World Health Day is "Health For All." The aim of the theme is to create an opportunity for the world to look back at public health successes that have helped improve the quality of life over the past 70 years.

Under this, LIS conducted a seminar on “Health For All” for students of grade 1 to 5 where students were enlightened with the truth pertaining to a healthy lifestyle and were made aware of the health hazards by showing them short video clips and conducting few activities.

The science department had blazed powerfully and had dawned upon the understanding of students to make a positive shift toward health and hygiene.

Furthermore, students practiced the technique of keeping themselves clean and hygienic by a beautiful action song.

Overall it was an interactive session wherein are students framed a positive attitude towards their health.
